Chinese iron ore stocks fall to 74m tonnes
STOCKPILES of imported iron ore at China’s major ports fell for the first time since July to 74.4m tonnes last week, 1% lower than the previous week.
Industry consultancy Mysteel said imported ore from India, which has banned exports of iron ore from10 ports in the southern state of Karnataka, fell by 840,000 tonnes to 18.1m tonnes.
Meanwhile, Brazilian ore continued falling, by 630,000...
