Lack of definitive supply data adds to crew availability doubts
THE LACK of up-to-date definitive data about the supply of seafarers is adding to the uncertainty over crew availability.
The statistics most widely relied on are the BIMCO/ International Seafarers Federation global survey, updated every five years.
The latest for this year is being compiled, with the results expected in early December.
