Panalpina freight volumes soar
PANALPINA has joined the list of European freight forwarders reporting a double-digit surge in sea freight volumes for the first half of 2010.
The Switzerland-based supply chain giant carried 19% more containers in the second quarter and 21% more in the six months to June, with ocean volumes “steadily approaching pre-crisis levels”.
