The Federal opposition’s proposed Emissions Reduction Fund could help truck operators add more new fuel-efficient vehicles to their fleets, according to the Australian Trucking Association.

The coalition this week announced that, if elected, it would invest in direct CO2 emission reduction activities and companies which emit less than usual levels of pollution could sell any extra CO2 credits to the government.
