AMSA refines faulty lifebuoy alert
The Australian Maritime Safety Authority has updated its marine notice on potential defects with lifebuoys supplied by Veleria S. Giorgio of Italy.
This problem had been brought to AMSA's attention by an Australian operator which tested lifebuoys on its vessel and had found that some did not float.
