THE AVERAGE container service voyage time from Asia to northern Europe has been stretched from eight to almost 10 weeks as super-slow steaming takes a firm hold.
Only four loops are still operating at higher speeds, according to industry analyst Alphaliner and even they are expected to slow down further soon.
Currently, 19 out of 23 loops on this route have either started or will soon begin...
