Inventory uncertainty keeps experts guessing

SUPPLY chain experts are keeping a close eye on inventory levels to make sure that the push last year to cut stock does not lead to over-ordering in the coming months.

Maritime freight rates on the trans-Pacific are rising, while container traffic is jostling for space on the key trade route between the US and Asia.
The demand, irrespective of issues of boxships in lay-up, is there.
