Family of Bourbon Dolphin crew to sue vessel’s owner

THE PARENTS of one of the dead crew members of the the ill-fated Bourbon Dolphin has begun legal action against the vessel’s owner.

They are suing Bourbon Offshore Norway, a division of French Bourbon Group, for NKr2m (US$344,000) damages for post-traumatic stress and the loss of earnings following the accident which left eight of the 15 crew members dead.
