New focus on secure cargo

THE AUSTRALIAN Maritime Safety Authority has the loading and securing of containers and the locking of hatch-covers in its sights.

AMSA is to undertake a February 1-April 30 focused inspection campaign (FIC), concentrating on fixed and portable container securing equipment at Australian ports.
