Stuart fuel hub at Port Bonython approved
ANOTHER piece in the Port Bonython jigsaw was put in place on Tuesday with South Australian planning minister Paul Holloway approving Stuart Petroleum’s $110m two-stage diesel storage and refinery facility.
The green light came with 23 conditions, mainly related to the environment, though Mr Holloway said the Development Assessment Commission had also highlighted the need for safe road access to cater for Whyalla’s “strong cycling community”.
