China in struggle to cope with big freeze

CHINA has mobilised troops to help deliver coal to power stations following disruption to land and sea transportation caused by freezing conditions.

Ice cover in some parts of the Bohai Sea and the Yellow Sea in northern China could extend up to 90 nautical miles from the coast this week, China’s State Oceanic Administration said.
