Terminals ignoring boxweight rules

TERMINAL operators frequently ignore overloaded containers rather than comply with rules that could disrupt cargo handling operations.

That claim by some industry sources comes as safety experts struggle to eradicate accidents resulting from cargo misdeclarations that give the wrong weight.
