Supplies arrive – Port-au-Prince repairs begin
THE FIRST vessels laden with relief supplies arrived at Haiti’s earthquake devastated Port-au-Prince last week as US divers began repairing port infrastructure.
The Crimson Clover, a ro-ro container barge operated by US-based Crimson Shipping, was the first vessel to dock at the Haitian port’s only remaining pier, carrying 2,200 tonnes of food from the US.
