Patrick, DP World enjoy a win over 'dual runs'

DP World and Patrick have had a win, with the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission granting them interim authorisation to give preferential treatment to truck carriers undertaking 'dual runs' at the Port of Fremantle.

Preferential treament now can be given to trucks doing 'dual-runs' at Port of Fremantle.

A dual run involves a truck delivering a container and collecting another container on the same trip.

With DP World Australia and Patrick each operating a container terminal at the Port of Fremantle, such a plan could have raised questions...
