Five firms chasing port charge deal
A SHORTLIST of five companies is set to tender for the right to collect the Victorian Government’s Freight Infrastructure Charge at the port of Melbourne.
Acting ports minister Peter Batchelor said the five companies were identified after an expressions of interest process that began in April.
The five companies were ConnectEast, ConnectEast/1-Stop Connections, Tenix Solutions, Transurban and VESystems.
