Melbourne truck plan unveiled
NEW RAMPS between the West Gate Freeway and Hyde Street in Melbourne’s west are key components of the Victorian Government’s new Truck Action Plan (TAP) announced this week.
The $380m TAP is aimed at providing a truck link between the freeway and Footscray Road and involves upgrades of Hyde, Whitehall and Moreland Streets, while Shepherd Bridge will be widened to allow for larger vehicles.
