Damaged bulker leaves Newcastle

CAPESIZE bulk carrier Dong-A-Hermes has left the port of Newcastle after hatch cover repairs.
Damage to the hatch lid, bulwark handrails and hydraulic motor occurred when the 145,856 dwt vessel rolled excessively by up to 10 degrees in large waves last month.
