Asia Pacific airfreight sector is flying high
THE GLOBAL economic troubles of last year appear to be a distant memory for the Asia-Pacific airfreight industry which continues to enjoy a significant increase in volumes.
International aircargo volume, measured in freight tonne kilometers (ftk), climbed 34% to 5.4bn in June from 4.16bn in the same period last year, the Association of Asia Pacific Airlines (AAPA) said.
