DARWIN Port enjoyed another year of trade growth as demand for the Northern Territory’s bulk minerals lifted total throughput.
Preliminary figures for the port show that total trade in the 12 months ending June 30 climbed 33% to 5m tonnes from 3.7m tonnes in 2008/09, Darwin Port Corporation (DPC) chief executive Robert Ritchie told Lloyds List DCN.
