CONTAINER lines continue to enjoy double digit growth in the Asia to Europe trades, with freight rates holding firm despite the influx of new capacity.
Latest figures from the European Liner Affairs Association (ELAA) show that westbound dry and reefer volumes were 21% higher in May, compared with a year earlier, at 1.13m teu.
That follows 27% year-on-year growth in April and the first quarter...
