Offshore fumigation for Tassie logs

A PUBLIC outcry at the port of Burnie has forced authorities to fumigate a shipment of China-bound Tasmanian logs offshore.
The logs were to have been fumigated onshore at the port before reports in local media generated opposition to the use of chemical methyl bromide.
