Protection push from Germans
GERMAN shipowners have demanded that the government applies pressure to make ship financing banks support small and medium-sized shipping companies.
The behaviour of the banks was at the centre of talks at the second meeting between the maritime industry and the government Berlin this week, according to Ralf Nagel, managing director at Germany’s shipowners’ association VDR.
