TEEKAY and Caltex have reached agreement over a replacement for the 20-year-old coastal tanker Palmerston that will see the 46,955 dwt Hugli Spirit take over on the coast.
David Parmeter, managing director of Teekay Shipping Australia, said the 2005-built vessel would enter service in July and would be manned by the company’s Australian seafarers.
Palmerston will then be redelivered by Caltex to Teekay in August. Hugli Spirit...
