BRAND new large multi-purpose vessels designed especially for the Australian trades are just months away – and tellingly, they are ideally equipped for the project cargo market.

AAL Brisbane, the first of Austral Asia Line’s new generation of ten 31,000 dwt liner service ships, is due out of the yard at Weihai in China in August – and as general manager Australia and AAL director Christophe Grammare...
