Colombia bids to cash in on Chinese coal demand
COLOMBIA, the fourth largest coal exporter in the world, has attracted much interest in the dry bulk market since it began shipping coal to China for the first time in January.
The country has the second largest coal reserves in South America, mostly located on the Caribbean coast, providing clean burning coal with sulphur content less than 1%.
