TECHNICIANS faced a solid week’s work after a major breakdown of the 4300 teu Maersk Gateshead last Thursday.
The eight-year-old vessel suffered main engine failure when sailing from Port Botany for Melbourne on voyage 1012 of Maersk Line’s weekly Boomerang service from North & East Asia.
