Gorgon is a win for ambitious Fairstar
ROTTERDAM-based Fairstar Heavy Transport will make what is thought to be its first foray into Australian waters after winning two transportation contracts from Chevron Australia and the Kellogg Joint Venture for the Gorgon LNG project.
Under agreements signed on May 31, Fairstar will provide its semi-submersibles Fjord and Fjell to ship modules and related project materials from various construction sites throughout Asia to Barrow Island.
