INVESTING in technology will improve road safety, reduce transport costs and cut emissions for the road freight industry, according to a strategy report released by the National Transport Commission (NTC) last week.
The report –The Draft National In-Vehicle Telematics Strategy: The Road Freight Sector – was developed in consultation with governments, industry and unions, outlining the potential of a partnership approach for the use of technology.
