PORT Kembla is expected to have planning approval for its Outer Harbour expansion within the next month with a view to beginning construction later this year.
The port will proceed with the development of the first eight to 10 ha of land once the planning approvals have been granted, New South Wales ports minister Paul McLeay said at a Shipping Australia function on Friday.
