New advisory body for NSW freight founded

THE DEFUNCT Freight and Logistics Council of New South Wales (FALCONSW) has been swiftly replaced by a new freight advisory body established by the state government.

Lloyd’s List DCN understands that the new body, the NSW Freight Advisory Council, was set up to fast-track a freight plan for the state amid concerns that NSW had fallen behind southern rival Victoria, which has already released its strategy.
