Investment firm Prime Infrastructure has chosen Brookfield Asset Management senior managing partner Brian Kingston as its new managing director and chief executive.
The move came as Mr Kingston's predecessor, Jeff Kendrew, was set to become chief development officer of Brookfield's global infrastructure business.
Prime, the former Babcock & Brown Infrastructure, was saved last November after Brookfield agreed to be part of an $1.8bn recapitalisation.
Prime owns Dalrymple Bay Coal Terminal, WestNet Rail and Euroports.
