Rates will stay high, says Deutsche Post DHL
Deutsche Post DHL has warned that 2010 capacity for ocean freight, especially ex-Asia, “remains tight” and that rates will “stay high or even increase”.

The forecast came as the German logistics giant’s forwarding and freight division registered a 9% decline in maritime boxes booked with shipping lines in 2009, down to 2.6m teu from 2.9m teu in the previous year.
