Anketell Point home to new deepwater port

THE WESTERN Australian Government has backed the construction of a deepwater iron ore port at Anketell Point, 30 km east of Karratha.
The state government will spend $3.5m over three years for the planning and preparation phase of the multi-user port, which is expected to have an export capacity of 350mtpa, an industrial area of more than 1400 ha and a corridor...
