Plenty of capacity waits – no fear of oversupply
THERE remains enough spare oil production ship capacity available for the immediate future and more could become available for redeployment when existing contracts finish.
Oil companies could select from seven to 11 idle vessels instead of opting for a new tanker conversion, but there will be quality issues to be overcome, Infield Systems analyst Julian Callanan said.
