UK LAW firm Norton Rose is planning an Australian hiring frenzy over coming months to follow through on aspirations to be a dominant force in financing and leasing work in the booming mining and offshore energy sectors.

The firm, which formalised its acquisition of 115-year-old firm Deacons Australia in January, saw significant potential to grow its business in Australia, given its traditional markets are still suffering from recessionary lulls.
