Measured welcome to LNG plant
THE AUSTRALIAN Trucking Association (ATA) said the plan to build a $100m liquefied natural gas plant in Queensland would provide truck drivers with an alternative fuel option.
Queensland premier Anna Bligh said the venture between BOC and Queensland Gas Co to build the LNG plant at Chinchilla could see the heavy transport sector switch to an environmentally cleaner fuel.
