Recovery in demand will be sluggish, warns OOIL

ORIENT Overseas (International) chairman Tung Chee-chen has played down hopes of a sustained recovery, warning that 2010 will be “another challenging year”.


Mr Tung, who is also chairman of the world’s 13th largest box line, OOIL subsidiary Orient Overseas Container Line, was cautious about prospects and forecast the recovery in the global economy and consumer demand were likely to be sluggish.
