Sturges loses seat in Tasmanian election

INFRASTRUCTURE minister Graeme Sturges was the highest profile casualty as the Tasmanian Labor government lost its majority in Saturday’s state election.


With a hung parliament the likely outcome, one of the winners may be a Liberal candidate with a strong maritime link – Richard Lowrie, a manager with Hobart shipbuilder Incat.
