Neftegaz-67 master let out on bail

YURIY Kulemesin, the Ukrainian master jailed for his role in one of Hong Kong’s worst maritime disasters, was released on bail pending an appeal against his conviction on charges related to endangering life at sea.

Judge Robert Tang also allowed Mr Kulemesin to return home to Ukraine pending the appeal, which is likely to be heard in January 2011.
He was the last of the four defendants to have his application for bail pending appeal...
