Containers boost ICTS finances
MANILA-based port operator International Container Terminal Services posted an increase of 107% in net income to US$22.8m in the first quarter this year from US$11m in the same period last year.
ICTSI attributed the net income surge to an increase in container throughput.
ICTSI handled a total of 962,028 teu between January and March, up 27% compared with 755,958 teu last year, ICTSI said in a statement.
