Marine Safety Victoria is reported to be investigating a close shave between cargo ship Kota Lumayan and a small yacht in the shipping channel at Pt Lonsdale off Port Phillip Heads last weekend.

Marine Safety Victoria told The Geelong Advertiser this week that both it and the Water Police had been notified of an incident last Sunday where the yacht allegedly passed close to the larger vessel’s bow.
