It's official: Port of Hastings merges with PoMC
The controversial integration of the Port of Hastings with the Port of Melbourne Corporation has officially come into effect.
Port of Hastings is now officially part of the Port of Melbourne Corporation.
As of earlier this week, the Port of Hastings Corporation ceased to exist and the port became part of the Port of Melbourne Corporation.
Day-to-day operations at the Port of Hastings will continue to be run by the Asciano company.
