Machinery imports rebounds after four-month low
SHIPMENTS of heavy machinery to Australia have recovered from the recent stall in infrastructure projects which saw imports dragged to the lowest level in four months.
Import volumes in July rose 14% from June to 1943 units as the number of tracked cranes surged to 73 units from five in the previous month, the Skelton Sherborne Shipping Index showed.
