ABARES bullish on mineral export growth
Exports of Australian minerals should rise substantially during 2011-12, Bureau of Resources and Energy Economics senior economist Kate Penney says.
“In 2011-12, Australia’s iron ore export volumes are forecast to increase by another 8% to 437m tonnes,” she told the 2011 Regional Ports Conference in Launceston.
