FWA extends protected action period at Broome

Fair Work Australia has ordered a 30-day extension of industrial action protection for workers at Broome Port Authority.
Broome Port Authority is in lengthy negotiations with the Maritime Union of Australia over a new enterprise bargaining agreement for its workers.
MUA members who work for the port were balloted for their approval of protected industrial action late in November...
