Concordia captain points finger at his bosses

Capt Francesco Schettino has blamed Costa Cruises for the Costa Concordia tragedy, according to legal transcripts leaked to the press.

Captain Schettino, the master of the vessel, told Italian prosecutors that he had been instructed by Costa Cruises – the ship’s operator – to perform the manoeuvre that led to the casualty.
