Gladstone Ports Corporation (GPC) is scaling back its dredging activity in the Western Basin to help improve turbidity levels in Gladstone Harbour.

GPC has implemented its turbidity management plan to help mitigate “natural variations” of seasonal king tides of 4.48 metres, extremely low tides of 0.61 metres and strong winds contribute to natural water turbidity.
