BlueScope Steel is expected to terminate the services of aging ro-ro steel carrier Iron Monarch for the Port Kembla to Western Port (Victoria) service late this year.

Ingilby Dickson, BlueScope Steel general manager supply chain and processing, said as of late 2012, that the 650,000 tonnes a year of hot-rolled coil feed would be transported from Port Kembla to the Western Port production lines by rail.
