More box ships suffer long term idling
New figures from box consultancy Alphaliner show that 57 units have been idle for more than six months, of which 20 have been inactive for at least a year.

Data from shipbroker Clarksons shows that around 133,000 teu was sold for scrap in the first half of 2012, against 71,000 teu in the whole of last year.
