Brockman Resources and Atlas Iron, both iron ore producers, in conjunction with QR National, Australia’s largest freight rail operator, have formed a joint venture to evaluate a mine, rail and port logistics solution for the east Pilbara region.
The JV is seeking a solution to transport iron ore from the Atlas’ and Brockman mines in the Pilbara to their proposed port at South West Creek in Port Hedland.
